The firm

From the other side of the table.

An independent strategic growth, transformation, and corporate development firm working with software and technology companies.

Our origin

We came from the buy-side.

Before Liaison, the work was acquiring software companies: finding the right businesses, reading them properly, and starting the conversations. Sitting on that side of the table teaches you what a company is really worth to the people writing the cheque, and how much of that traces back to decisions made years earlier.

We now apply the same standard to building companies rather than buying them. Whether the question is revenue, technology, or a transaction, it gets judged the way someone with capital at risk would judge it.

Four principles, held across every engagement.

01

We work for value, not activity

Every move is judged on whether it grows the business and what it is worth, not on how much motion it creates.

02

We do the work, not just the advice

We run the outreach, take the calls, and manage the process ourselves. The deliverable is a set of real opportunities, not a deck to execute alone.

03

We keep your options open

Scale, acquire, raise, or sell stays your decision. Our job is to make sure all of them are available, from a position of strength.

04

We would rather be specific than impressive

Named companies, named firms, and a defined first step. If we cannot describe the opportunity concretely, we say so rather than dress it up.
